The riddle of the door has been solved. The map is that of a distant constellation of a solar system that contains a sun, a moon and a number of other planets. These are represented as a feudal hierarchy, with the sun as the king and the moon as the queen. Pressing these indentations in a sequence that corresponds to the natural order opens the door and allows you to continue to climb the tower. | |||||

Although there are signs of daily life scattered around the halls, as yet you have not encountered a single human. Where are the brothers of this mysterious astral cult? You rummage through some footlockers and discover a few items of treasure. |

You climb a spiral staircase and emerge at the apex of this curious shrine. There are no living souls present, but a great many of the enigmatic guardian statues. With a shudder, they come to life as one. You must destroy them before you are overwhelmed! | |||||
Post-Battle Description | |||||
The statues lie in grotesque, quivering pieces. The Astral Guardians are defeated at last! After searching the top of the tower, you discover a set of arcane crystal lenses, presumably aligned with stars in the sky. You waste no time in shattering them to thwart whatever plan the guardians were hatching. You gather up all the treasure you can carry and begin the trip back to town. |
