Enemies Quantity
Copper Golem 1
Men At Arms 2
Pre-Battle Description
Lord Stafford’s mansion on the Undead Sea coast is his personal retreat. His staff are now on high alert after your raid on his Summerhall estate. Reinforcements have been summoned, not least of which is a highly illegal Copper Golem installed in the entryway. The last of its kind, it seems to recognize you as it stomps murderously across the carpet!
Post-Battle Description
Brushing loose rivets and bits of cog from your armor, you are faced with dozens of corridors leading in different directions. The map indicates that the treasury lies beyond the chapel, which is to the north.

Part 2 - Stafford’s Chapel

Enemies Quantity
Mercenary 1
Men At Arms 2
Human Priest 1
Pre-Battle Description
The Stafford family chapel is a musty and neglected place. The present Lord Stafford worships the secular gods of food and wine and disdains the chapel and its tedious sermons. The guards intercept you here and they find a willing ally in the form of Father Gregorius, the priest in residence.
Post-Battle Description
Most players will think nothing of despoiling a place of worship. The GM may wish to imply that this sacrilege will not be ignored by the gods. Whether it is or not, is entirely up to the GM’s discretion.

Part 3 - Stafford’s Treasury

Lord Stafford 1
Pre-Battle Description
Finally, you come face to face with the infamous Lord Stafford. He jealously defends his treasury with a mercenary and several large guard dogs. He grips an evil looking cane in his liver-spotted hands and with a trembling voice commands the minions to attack!
Post-Battle Description
At last you have found Stafford’s treasure! Here in the treasury lies a mountain of gems and precious metals. There’s more than enough here to keep you in iron rations and mead until the end of your days!
